Welcome to the digital presence of our 24th annual Symposium!
The "Frühjahrssymposium" (Spring Symposium) of the youth organization of the German Chemical Society (GDCh e.V.), the 'JungChemikerForum' (JCF), is one of Europe's biggest scientific conferences for young scientists. In 2022, the JCFs of Göttingen and Hannover are delighted to invite you to the Leibniz University and the city of Hannover!
In the light of the recent challenges and obstacles, we would like to look ahead and come together under the motto Communicating the Future.
While research and working together gives us the tools and possibilities, the communication of ideas, processes and results is crucial, within and especially out of the own scientific community. Communication in all its facets of presentation, discussion and listening is the key to the development of not only our knowledge, but the inspiration and ideas to shape our future.
This is why for the first time, the young members of the German Physical Society (DPG), the German Society for Biochemistry Molecular Biology (GBM) and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry (DBG) will be part of the spring symposium to promote interdisciplinary connection.
We look forward to meet each other, discuss with each other and learn from each other in March 2022!
Excellent plenary lectures and a panel discussion will be surrounded by a diverse program including short talks and poster sessions of young scientists, workshops and of course the conference dinner and a variety of social activities.
In addition, in 2022 we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 'JungChemikerForum', so stay tuned for some special events!
Until then we invite you to have a look around and get to know our sponsors and speakers, read about the university and the city or check out the cooperating young societies.
Please note that the registration will be open from November 1st. Updates and most recent news will be published here, but have a look at our social media channels (twitter, facebook, Instagram) for more detailed information.
